Our Quarries have been in operation since the late 1960's. Callander Industries Ltd is a small family owned and operated business that takes great pride in providing the best customer service possible as well as a quality product with competitive pricing.

Our natural stone product is a quality and color that is native to this particular area of Northern Ontario.

The Quarries are physically situated about an hours drive from North Bay, Ontario ( which is approximately a 3-4 hour drive north on Hwy 17N from Toronto). All the stone is drilled blasted and trucked to a holding yard in Callander- a short drive off major Hwys 11 and 17.

Once in the yard it is processed and shipped all over Canada and The United States. The stone is shipped as Veneer or cut stone and Landscape boulders.

Veneer ranges from approximately 3 "- 6" in thickness and 6" - 15" in irregular diameter. It is used for stone facings such as walls and fireplaces ( see photo gallery).

Landscape Boulders are used as is for ornamental landscaping. They range in irregular sizes from 80 lbs to 20,000 lbs ( see photo gallery).

We are pleased to announce that we have leased some of out Quarries to Natur-stone formerly know as McLaren's Bay - now a southern Ontario based company that specializes in cutting large blocks of stone. These blocks are shipped to Italy where they are cut and polished into counter tops
